About the Photographer - Samantha Fong
When I started Nestology, my vision was to support families as they went through their many milestones together. Throughout the years, I have been fortunate enough to witness and create for their happiest celebrations and capture life-changing moments. I also learned that even simple moments can be celebrated and captured authentically.
I take what I do seriously and handle my clients’ most intimate memories and stories with utmost care. I strive to make the entire Nestology customer experience enjoyable and, above all, personal. I treat all my families as friends and genuinely delight in seeing them and their beautiful children grow year on year.
If you want to know more about me, I have a background in IT, Project Management, Marketing and Communications, and Strategic HR. That's quite a lot, isn't it? But when I started my family miles away from home, I decided it was time to break away from the corporate world. I wanted to start a business that I felt immensely passionate about while focusing on raising my two young children and experiencing life with my husband x best friend. I found the visual arts rather late in life, but I discovered that I thoroughly enjoy designing, photography, and writing. I find inspiration in reading, traveling, outdoor adventures and, of course, my tribe of loved ones.
About Nestology
When I think of a "nest", I immediately think of home - a place where families have authentic interactions, somewhere they can be themselves and celebrate their everyday moments together. And so “Nestology” is worded this way because it is meant to be a family-oriented mindset.
I created Nestology wanting to provide families from all walks of life an experience that mirrors their feelings when they are at home - happy, comfortable, sometimes a little disorganized but nonetheless natural. Because it is precisely in this natural setting where the most meaningful photos are captured.
At Nestology, I always aim for families to feel supported and celebrated in every encounter. I want to always visually represent their truth and their relationships. I hope that after working together, you will come away feeling that your special and everyday moments are valued and captured authentically.
