Baby-Friendly Hand Sanitiser DIY Recipe

Worried about chemicals and alcohol in store-bought hand sanitizer? You can make this one at home with a few simple, natural ingredients in a matter of minutes! It smells amazing and is kid approved ♡

Lavender and geranium essential oils are safe for babies from 6mo+. If you're concerned about the use of essential oils with babies, or any of the other ingredients in this recipe, please consult your paediatrician before use. 

Ingredients

1/4 cup aloe vera gel

1tbsp coconut oil (melted/liquid)

1 1/2tbsp witch hazel (the lower the alcohol content, the better)

5 drops geranium essential oil

5 drops lavender essential oil

Steps

1. Whisk the aloe vera gel, coconut oil together well (let cool if using melted coconut oil)

2. Add witch hazel and essential oils to the mixture

3. Pour this moisturising hand sanitiser mixture into a squeezable or pump jar
