This simple purée is full of vitamins and minerals and can easily be turned into a smoothie for the whole family to enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup breast milk or formula
2 tablespoons fresh pumpkin cubed
1 1/2 cups banana sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon and/or nutmeg (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh pumpkin cubed
1 1/2 cups banana sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon and/or nutmeg (optional)
Instructions:
- Put the pumpkin in the steamer basket.
- Pour water into the tank (Level 3).
- Start the cooking process.
- When the pumpkin is cooked, put it in the blending bowl with the banana and cinnamon and/or nutmeg.
- Blend for 30 seconds.
- Add some of the milk to bring the purée to the desired consistency and blend.
